Extreme Wheel on the DD1 Base?

Hello guys, I would like to use my Extreme Wheel on my DD1 (PS). But every time you put the wheel on it screams for an update. Is there software coming, or am I doing something wrong?

As you can read in the webshop description, the GT Extreme wheel.is currently NOT compatible with any other base. It is ONLY compatible with the CS DD atm. At some point there might be a firmware update to enable compatibility with other bases but no ETA for this yet, definitely not soon.
