CSL DD Wheel base motor will not update

So here's the issue... When I power on the wheel base it no longer goes through the calibration process. it moves back and forth about 1/2 an inch and then the FFB locks in place for roughly 30-45 seconds. Once it is free to rotate again all of the buttons and pedals work in gave but there is absolutely zero steering input.

I have been able to update everything except the motor firmware using the latest driver(455) and all of the latest firmware versions. The motor firmware updates fails every time and show the version to be at 0.

Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?
