CSL Ellite wheelbase keeps starting up in bootloader mode
Hi all,
I have been searching and reading all related topics regarding this but I think my problem is slightly different than what I have read and also the ones marked as Solved.
I have a CSL Elite base and my son got caught behind the USB cord and ripped the USB port.
I have succesfully replaced the port and the wheel is being recognized but when I start the wheel by 1 button press the red led stays red for approx 10 seconds and then starts in bootloader mode.
Fanatec driver pops up with the firmware flash message......I do the firmware flash and it all says succesfull.
According to the message the wheel should restart, the wheel does power off but does not restart.
Only when I press the power button the whole above mentioned sequence starts again.
Tried different PC's
Different cables
Different drivers....(from 387 to 434 to 455)
Does anyone recognize this and could point me towards a solution?
I am capable of soldering new components to the PCB as I did with the USB port and previously with an ESD (UL26).
But at the moment I am puzzeled why the base boots in Bootloader mode without me pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Krgds,
Danny
