Question: Calibration when mounted under the table

Good morning and sorry for the possibly stupid question.

I finally decided to get rid of my Logitech Wheel and ordered a CSL DD, which should arrive within the next few days (🤞). Of course I want this to use with all my games including truck simulators. Now the ClubSport DD clamp allows under the table mounting for a more „realistic“ angle, but requires the CSL DD to be mounted upside down.

How will I be able to calibrate that? Just center the wheel and perform calibration? There isn‘t a hard lock for maximum wheel rotation, or is there?

    hard lock comes from software

CSL DD self not needed mounted upside down if you use that ClubSport DD clamp

  • Thanks, for that answer. I expected as much as far as the hard lock goes.

I was just asking because in the tutorial video Fanatec suggests to mount the CSL DD upside down when using under the table. Most likely due to the cables being very low and getting in your legs way otherwise.

in cable case yes upside down may be better.

it not affects anyway the hard-lock because its controlled by software

  • Thank you. Can‘t wait to try.
