Does the BMW M4 GT3 loosy shifter problem has been fixed ?

Hello,
I plan to buy this wheel but with this price tag I just want to be sure that I don't have to send it to the support a few month after the purchase.
Some people have encountered the same exact and specific problem so in my opinion there was at least a factory process problem.
Has it been fixed since ?

I would like to know this as well. Usually the issue people mention is the right shifter becoming loose.
Mine is 1 year old next month with a lot of miles on it. It's fine. Couldn't tell you if that issue has been fixed or if I am lucky.
But I am still waiting for my QR2 Cable... It is included with new orders I think. But those of us that have had them for a while are still waiting...
Thanks for your input. At least they are not all bad. Fanatec should have waited to ship the QR2 and the new update cable together. This way they have to ship twice.
I hope this problem has been identified and fixed/isolated.
That's would be a shame if they just hope that most of customers will not complain...
So my left shifter is loose now, is this what OP is talking about? I see no way to tighten it as well :(
This wheel has been a nightmare. I’m afraid to RMA it and i”m sure it’s out of warrantee
Yes still waiting for the QR2 update cable…
I couldn't say. There are some bolts on the paddle itself, but if it's loose at the base of the shifter, inside the wheel, I would start the RMA sooner than later I guess.

Just curious if you have upgraded your firmware to latest by putting the old QR1 back on? Gave it a shot and seemed to work, was not sure if the QR2 would be required to update, wheel says updated, so I guess it works. Just don't want to brick my wheel.
Yes. That's what I have to do. I always read the Driver release to see if it has an update first. Because I don't feel like the wear and tear of installing and reinstalling QR's is a great idea.
The last update I received from Fanatec was an auto generated Ai email to see if that could help me...
Why they can't get this new cable to me yet is killing me. :(
