shifter ? on DD1 ps4 wheel

Hi I have the dd1 ps4 wheel , and Im very pleased with it , but I have a question though , the top shifter , I cant get it to register in game on PC ( I am in pc mode when on pc 
).
I can see it register clics when Im in control panel . but I have yet to get it to picup in game when I try to map those two .
