V2.5 keeps disconnecting

I need help with my 2.5 base. Twice now it has disconnected mid race in iRacing and its not even being recognized as connected when I open the Fanatec property settings. I have to completely uninstall Fanatec software redownload  and start up like an initial setup. USB cables are not loose and base is less than 6 months old.

Check the USB power saving setting in Windows to make sure it's disabled.
