Csl elite V1.1 "No response"

Hi, I bought the csl elite base V1.1 Eu last week and I´ve been struggling to get it going.
The problem is when im about to update the firmware, as you have to do first on this base. It says in the message logs "Csl elite wheel base detected" and the next sentence is "No response from the device. Operation failed". I have only the base plugged in witch no pedals nor the wheel on. Please help me, thank you.

    Have you tried with the wheel installed on the base?
    Do you have the wheel base connected to a USB2.0 port (recommended)?
