Barry for diging deep inside stuff.
James for not taking that hobby too serious.
Ron for the german speaking audience.
DDF Racer, who also did a terrific job reviewing the Clubsport V3 pedals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym0m_tIhvxQ
Have the units been sent out yet? To whom?
1st jardier..2nd boosted media... 3rd karl Gosling
1st DDF racer

Operating my Fanatec gear now over 3 years.
Didn‘t have any issues at all.
I find Karl Gosling a unbiased honest review channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlGosling/featured
DDF Racer gets my vote
DDF Racer gets my vote.
Voted "other" for DDF Racer. To get a review by a guy driving only a G29 for ages.
Any word on which YT channels are reviewing these advance units?
DDF RACER GETS MY VOTE. INFORMATIVE HONEST & EXPLAINS THINGS IN A WAY THAT BOTH TECH SAVVY & THE NEWBIES CAN RELATE TO
Looks like Boosted have said they will start reviewing the CSL DD Next week. Looks like this is already over.
How long until the broader spectrum of YouTube reviewers get the wheels and, of course how long until we can start ordering them?
I'll vote for: Sim Racing Garage
I just bought a podium hub yesterday. You could send a CSL DD in the same shipment so I can review it to my 18 subscribers 😅
Have the three review units been sent out yet?
Probably. Boosted Media claims to be reviewing the CSL DD Next week. Take a look on Boosted Media's YouTube page, under the community tab. This poll probably closed a day or two after it was posted. Either that, or Fanatec used the poll to see who to prioritize with the first batch of review samples.
While good to hear the results are in Thomas, bit concerned by the wording choice here - "Barry is doing things properly" implies that anyone who accepts a pre-production sample of your new products is not reviewing them 'properly,' which is a massive discredit to Will, Chris and James (GamerMuscle) specifically who have their own credible ways they'll go about reviewing your new products, let alone anyone else who has had (in the past) or may have (in the future) the privilege of reviewing samples of your products.
I think Thomas was just showing respect for Barry‘s decision to wait for the retail version and meant no disrespect for the other reviewers.
I do see a potential conflict for the other reviewers between being the first and being thorough. However, I am sure they will find a good balance and spread their findings across several videos as the reviewing process proceeds.
EDITED: I am BLIND.... 🤣
Exactly. Of course the others are taking it serious and deliver great content. I basically just gave back the words Barry told us without any reference to the others.
In fact, I think there is a good reason why those channels are the most popular and each of them find a different style and way to take a look at a product. I would recommend to look at least to 2 or 3 reviews anyway until I make my own opinion.
Following on from Thomas' update, I'm posting this on behalf of myself (Boosted Media), Chris Haye and GamerMuscleVideos to let you know our plan for releasing the videos.
We have discussed among ourselves and have agreed that to give you the most well balanced initial overview of the product and avoid the temptation to rush out content, we have set a self imposed embargo of 9AM UTC on Friday June 4th.
This will allow us the time required to properly test the equipment and produce our best work.
To adjust this to your own time zone, visit https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
We will keep you updated on the finer details through our own communities linked below and look forward to sharing our opinions on the CSL DD pre-production samples with you all soon!

I'm locking forward to see the reviews. But it's kind of a shame that Barry don't want to review the first sample. However I can understand him.
Yeah, unlike the rest of us he doesn't do any content outside of his normal review process so it's understandable.
For Boosted Media, of course the approach we take in this instance will be quite different to what we would do for a normal "review" of an off-the-shelf product as we can't guarantee the experience will match that of the final production units.
However, I believe we can manage expectation with our viewers and still offer some valuable insight while we wait to receive the final prodcution samples.
Looking forward to sharing soon and thanks to everyone who contributed to the voting.
Looking forward to all of the reviews.
Million dollar question. Is the Firmware to be used same as in the current products (402) or will it be a beta one just for this pre-production base?
I'm looking forward to the Chris Haye's video of the unit.
